The Friends of AIDS Foundation Memorial
is dedicated to all the individuals whose lives have been impacted by HIV/AIDS.

The Friends of AIDS Foundation believes that every life matters
and every contribution for the betterment of mankind counts.

Since the beginning of this pandemic, more than 25 million lives have been lost to AIDS.

This memorial honors all who have confronted this tragic disease, those who have died,
those who are living with HIV/AIDS, those who have shared their struggle and every
single person who has contributed to the field of HIV/AIDS.

Your lives will never be forgotten and your spirit will continue on!

THE MEMORIAL POEM

I am Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I am free.
I am following the path GOD laid for me.

I took his hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that place at the close of my day.

If my parting has left a void
then fill it with a remembered joy.

A friendship shared, a laugh , a kiss
ah yes, these things , I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and pray with me.
GOD wanted me now, he set me free.
